True Success
True Success can’t be compartmentalized. We can’t say we’re successful just because we’re prospering in our business or career. Success and Prosperity are not necessarily the same thing. It’s possible to prosper by engaging in illegal activities. However, true success has as a focus, integrity and excellence, and it’s how we live our lives all day, every day!
Good or Bad
Good or bad, the past is over and done. There is absolutely nothing we can gain by focusing on what did or didn’t happen in the past. Let’s just learn from it and move on. Every morning presents new opportunities. As a result, we can and should develop a new and better mindset and focus. One that positions us to achieve our best success, that day, regardless of what we have or have not achieved in the past.
A Special Message
It’s critical for those of us who are committed to succeeding in our businesses and careers to recognize that achieving success in the work we do, does not automatically make us a successful person.
There is a life outside of work. When we leave work (as we should) we should be concerned about the success and well-being of those we love and care about as well.
We should be focused on establishing successful relationships with them. Statistics show that when we don’t make the success of our relationships important, the success of our work is usually negatively affected. To the best of our ability, let’s not allow that to happen.
When we genuinely care about the success and well-being of family and friends, we lay a strong foundation for our personal success.
Let’s fix our focus on achieving ‘our best success’ and help those we care about do the same. For none of us can succeed without help at some point from someone.
